Story: 
Here’s an 8x10” painting of a Scarlet Macaw from the Rainforest of Peru.
After frustrating with a multicolored tangle of feathers for awhile, I gave into my imagination and invited some Rainforest friends and neighbors along for the ride. It seemed easier to make up fifteen tropical animals to decorate the wings, than untangle umpteen non-compliant feathers this time around - more fun for my grandkids, and for me. When I get around to it, I’ll use a larger,smoother board, finer brushes for detail and much more time to paint the “real bird” - Or, make a lot more like this!
