Painting Progress for "Gorgazilla Thrills Manilla"

This piece called "Gorgazilla" evolved from a tonal pencil drawing, then I added the thin acrylic washes to explore the color combinations. It was inspired by my childhood monsters of Gorgo and Godzilla. I decided to combine them, building a monster of seaweed and marshmallows ravaging the landscape, and battling with Bi-Planes.
